Fascinating video! You've taught me a lot about what I now know are cleavers ! They definitely took over one of our smallish abandoned veg gardens .! Loved your story about the elder's wisdom, that plants will draw you to them in time of need, and from what happened to your foot, it certainly happened just as the elder said it would! Thx again

This sprouts every spring in my yard and blankets everything. Today, I finally looked it up and came across this video. I'm now wondering if plants in the spring should be consumed to help the body for the year. Poke Salad is another that only sprouts in the spring.

I am new to foraging and new to your channel. SO GLAD I found you. It is nice to have a Canadian source. Since I just found out about cleavers, mine are finished blooming and I read in a book that they are best used before seeding. How long do you forage the cleaver leaves? Do you dry many for winter teas (if you can dry them at all). Thanks for this info. I LOVE your channel. Thank you.
