😊 Someone mentioned that the receptionist is an actor in a lot of sitcoms, and I love it. As an overweight lady myself who struggled in my formative years with the only inclusion of bigger people being either comic relief, the butt of jokes, or the nasty soon, I appreciate when Hollywood casts people of different shapes, sizes, ethnicities, abilities, etc. in 'normal'roles. It's more reflective of the real world.

Sure, there are times when the casting/theme/plot calls for all of the actors to fit the same characteristics, and that's totally reasonable - don't get me wrong. I'm no crazed social justice warrior! I just prefer that bit of realism in shows and movies. 🤷‍♀️

Come to think of it, I think it lets me more easily turn off my mind and enjoy the story, like that realism allows my brain to forget about my own life and troubles for a while. Or something. 😊
