When Harry Belafonte introduces know you are THE MAN! Saw him at LAX Airport in 2004. Didn't want to bother him so I put my hands together in praying hands and bowed slightly without saying anything to me. He smiled and beckoned me over. I didn't ask for an autograph or say a word. He waved me over to him and gave me a hug and wished me "travelling mercies" and he disappeared into a black Yukon. That memory is way better than his signature. Brava Senor Santana. Listening to your music is like taking a trip through the UNIVERSE!

It was difficult then to acquire your recordings and listen to them. because there was an iron curtain between the Soviet Union and the outside world. I’m 65- grew up in El Paso- my older brother loved Santana. He invited me to see live concert _ Santana !! My parents said I was too young but my brother convinced them. My first concert - Santana. 1975. Memories, older simpler times.
