It's amazing to me when you talk about eyes being closed, because some of the things I've seen, I did not see until after I took a picture of it, but I knew something was there, then I saw it in my picture, I think it's like art.

Forrest has the answers, but I think he's hinting that the poem tells you how to find them too. I really think the poem stands alone and could lead someone to the treasure on its own. The book of course helps.

Of course he knows the answers... He wrote the poeeem!
Forrest loves to get a laugh out of people... Problem is, he tells a lot of corny old man jokes which fly right past many of us younger folks!
Being an aspiring crusty old man myself and having been primarily raised by a woman who was born in 1900, I find his sense of humor absolutely hilarious! What's even more funny is watching people trying to pry hints out of the many jokes he tells! The only real hint in any of them is that you have to try to think like a man who spent his formative years in rural America of the 1930's and 40's!

The use of the word theme bugs me. To me there is not enough substance behind a lot of these words to classify them as themes. I’d call these patterns. Patterns aren’t very subtle, however a flaw in a pattern would surely be an aberration.

Why do you keep saying "poe-ahem"?
