Giving my Ronaldson Bros & Tippett Type CK 25-27hp another run and bit of a play. one of the cylinders is still a bit low on compression which is why it misses when it is cold. It was originally direct coupled to a generator with automatic start. It was used to supply power to Kaladbro station at Strathdownie victoria. It supplied power to the house, workshop and a large fountain that had a 3 phase water pump. There was also a back up generator powered by my 6hp Ronaldson Tippett CF diesel which can be seen running in some of my other videos.

Getting much better! I bet the more you run it the better it will get! I got to know what kind of tree that is trying to take over the fence? It's massive!!

Very nice Nathan. It is always good to get yet another one running again. Maybe the problem is not as bad as you think. Might be a sticking valve. Either way you have to still give it a good run to see if it fixes itself.

I have just got one running .. a big job . Would love a better camshaft . They run very well . Am In no great hurry to RE metal the bearings ... enjoy

Also the ringing sound at the start is just a lose cover on the flywheel that covers the coupling that went to the direct coupled generator.
