Pablo Barn Cat seems to be immune to my electric fence. Why? How does he do it? I really want to know.

Pablo's seen too much of this world to be shocked by anything anymore

The fence is to protect everything else from the geese

I love how both Toby and Pablo showed up for you when you got shocked.

Back when I was growing up on the farm. A mink showed up one winter. It was hurt and we decided to nurse it back to health and release it. That damn thing no matter what we did wouldn't leave the farm and wanted to follow us everywhere outside. He also didn't like to be fed for whatever reason. He would hunt mice and snakes and just annihilate them. He left the chickens alone and loved to sleep in the barn. We left him and he would do his thing for years. We never had a rodent problem. He never killed a single chicken or duck and man was he a ferocious little guy. Oddly he got along with the dogs and would often play around with them at night. You could hear them playing around. We had a river that ran through our property and when we would go down there that mink would follow us. We were pretty sad when it died. That thing was awesome and my dad was for sure it would kill a chicken. It never did. Strange as hell that mink.

Cats actually can sense electromagnetic poles, so they can kind of feel the fence is electrified. That also why they behave oddly when a thunderstorm is coming.

Hahah when you were touching the fence at 6:04 and Pablo is like "dude, no."

"LET LOOSE THE GOOSE !" is the scariest thing I heard today

He probably hears it too. Electricity sounds something like a soft buzz. You'll know the difference when you turn off all appliances.

You can’t die by the same thing twice, it’s common sense

I wonder if the cat can hear a sound from when the fence is on. Humans can’t hear it but maybe the cat can. Yes whiskers are one of their senses various things.

Pablo is a smart cat! My cat always rolls on the carpet and then rubs against my legs and gives us both a little shock. I believe he does it on purpose... and likes it! 😸

At 0:40, where you demonstrate how you got shocked by the electric fence, Pablo is 'guarding' you to make sure you are all right. I have come to realize that cats DO watch over and guard people more than folks realize. Good cat, a very good cat.

the chickens going into toby's dog house might honestly be a good thing, since they'll probably eat any parasites that might try to nest in the straw.

I think that Toby doesn't like the doghouse because he is unable to see and hear well from in there, and under the small barn he looks like he is able to keep a better watch?

Pablo slapping the shit out of Toby for sniffing him is the funniest thing I've seen today
