I was lucky enough to see them a lot in the 90's. Judging by those shows I don't think they were ever one of those bands that people would say "they used to be good'. They will always be the best.

He was also institutionalized, briefly. And the business of Linda and John was big. Despite thes hardships, Joey was and is a true hero, and legend. He was a freaky outcast, who was true to himself, and because of that became one of the coolest people in the world in the eyes of tens or perhaps hundreds of thousands of people.

Johnny & Tommy started the Ramones, and Joey was initially the drummer, not the frontman. Still, nice tribute to an absolute legend.

Joey was far from ugly are you fuckn serious? Joey was the most gorgeous and sexiest man in rock n roll if not like in the world! Anyone who called him that was blind, stupid and jealous! I cant believe that shit! Joey had a heart of gold beautiful inside and out. The man had looks and talent! So what he had physical issues? Doesn't make him any less sexy. Also anyone who bullied him for his looks was jealous and insecure with themselves. Joey got pretty girls. If I wasnt 45 years younger than him and I had been born 40 years earlier I would have so been with him. He is too cool and too handsome to pass up. Love you Joey with all my heart.
