That micro apartment is a lot better than what New York City has to offer.

I can't help it. Now, when I see apartments that small, all I can think about is how I'd go insane in one of those during a lockdown.

The price is right and it’s functional. Most people are out of the apartments all day working, going to school etc. families do not live there. It works. Very smart living

This would be a cool little place to rent for like a week or two while you went and did a bunch of fun stuff and just used it to sleep if it was really cheap

Basically it’s what used to be called an SRO (single room occupancy) space. They were popular back in the 50’s. You paid $10.00 a week and if you didn’t pay that morning you weren’t allowed in the next night!

I was in and out of Japan for 8 years and stayed in a lot of capsule hotel. I can do that place easily.

This is the reality for many young people going forward. Especially for densely populated areas of the city.

I'd go batty. It's claustrophobic. A crypt with a slightly higher roof. But, to each his own

I have not been to Osaka in years. Last time in Japan was for a funeral and we stayed in Tokyo the entire time.
