For those who don't know, the joke is that XQC is going through a divorce. A prenuptial agreement is a contract which you sign with your partner before a marriage. It states what the terms of a divorce will be, SHOULD you ever get one.

Wealthy people, who earned their money before meeting their partner, often sign prenuptial agreements in order to avoid one party getting half of a rich person's assets in the case of a divorce.

Without a prenup, all the assets are split in half regardless of when that person earned their wealth, or how much of it they have.

Often, the non-wealthy party will take offense to the wealthy party desiring a prenup, as a prenup forces the couple to discuss divorce prior to the wedding happening.

On the other hand, the wealthy party usually feels that if their partner is willing to agree to a prenup, it is proof that they are marrying them just for love, and not for money. Something which wealthy people do indeed have to consider.

Honestly, I can see both sides of it. It's certainly a sticky conversation to have with someone you've recently proposed to.

I have no idea whether XQC had a prenup or not. It's funny, though, because if he doesn't have one he's now about to be knocked millions of dollars back to before he downloaded Twitch for the first time.

I have no idea what made xqc blow up but credit to him . I knew him back in thr day frm Overwatch. Part of the original overwatch league and just a massive talent. Dude took a year off from the game and came bac and absolurely rocked it for team Canada at the world cup. One of kf the only non league players in the tournament...Absolutely crazy performance.
