"Train Kept a Rollin'" was originally a Jump Blues song by Tiny Bradshaw in 1951 that morphed into full-blown rock 'n' roll in 1956 courtesy of the Rock 'n' Roll Trio(Johnny and Dorsey Burnette/Paul Burlison) followed by the Yardbirds(Jeff Beck) psychedelic blues/rock version in 1965 and proto-metal(Jeff Beck/Jimmy Page) version titled "Stroll On" in 1966 that finally led to Aerosmith in 1974 and the great thing is that they all work and we get to experience the evolution of this amazing train ride...ALL ABOARD...Track 29...a little "Chattanooga Choo Choo" reference there in keeping with the situation..

Aerosmith was one of the original hard rock American bands when I was a kid. They were unique and fascinating. They went hard for 10 years, then burned out, split up, and took a break. About 5 years later they reappeared, rested and somewhat sober, released one great album, then started doing power ballad pop songs. Kind of like the band Chicago, there are two incarnations, although Aerosmith has the original band together. The early stuff is the way to go. “Mama Kin”, “Chip Away The Stone”, “Lord Of The Thighs”, “Back In The Saddle”, “Nobody’s Fault”, “Rats In The Cellar”, “Walk This Way”

They were the first concert i ever went to. They were touring in support for their Rocks album.

Fun Fact: Steve Hunter plays the lead guitar parts all the way up to the sound of the crowd. At that point, Dick Wagner plays the solos to the end. Apparently Joe Perry was too exhausted to do the tracks at the time so session guitarists Steve and Dick stepped in.

I always enjoy it when you hear a NEW band for the first time. Another legendary name in your growing list. I just smile, again. #58

The first song in '73 was Dream On. It was too soon, but made it in '75. They have a long catalogue.

Aerosmith is a huge rabbit hole that you really need to go down! "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion" would be great for your next Aerosmith reactions, but they're ALL epic, so whatever you choose will be great! Thanks for this great reaction! ✌💙✌

Train is an old song covered by many bands but i feel aerosmith did the best cover ever, a great track from them is “falling in love is so hard on the knees”

Lead guitar parts in this are actually played by session guitarists, and the crowd noise is actually taken from The Concert for Bangladesh.
