Omg it takes me 3 weeks to read a Stormlight Archive book and they’re about 1, 000 pages each. The fact that you’re aiming for 8x that in one month is boggling my mind. 😂

Im joining in. My best month was 3573 and my goal is 4000. It would then also be my best month of all time! I dont know how you can manage 8000!!! Mindblowing!

I’m fairly certain The Final Strife is pitched as Adult! My best so far is 7262 but every month is 6.5k or more. Maybe I could go really crazy and try for 8k? 👀

My Highest Pages Count was 14, 523 pages in February. I haven't even counted up July's yet and I already know it won't bet that.

You will love Shogun. Also made into a tv series in the 80s (?) with Richard Chamberlain, and is also due to be/already is a film. A truly great epic of a book.

March was my best reading month at 7625 pages. I'm going to try for 8000. I do have some chunky books for August. Excited for a good reading month😂

The most read in a month this year was 2169 pages. I try not to develop bad reading habits and otherwise maintain a balanced life. An hour or two of reading is enough.

I’ve never checked this before but I counted and my highest was in February with 3052 pages! It would be nice this month to get to 3500/4000 pages but we will see 😊

I have watched Shogun the television show. It was on the US channel FX, but I streamed it on Hulu I believe. It was an AMAZING series so now I know that it is based on a book I might actually read it.

I have never kept track of pagecount, but I am starting with august just to see where it goes. It might become a bit higher than it would otherwise because you have inspired me, BUT if I get a part time job (which I am currently searching for) that might change it up dramatically. My best reading month was April, with ~4800 pages so I’m going for 5000 this month. Binge reading Stephen King, who tends to right chunky books, will definitely help with that!
