I love seeing other cases like mine. I have a 2008 model Area 51 in grey. Original hardware was a core 2 duo and dual gts 8800, 500gb hdd. Now its running a dual e5-2630 v3 chipset, 32gb 2333 ddr4, gtx980tiGolden and a 1tb gammix m.2ssd

I loved this case growing up and might consider retrofitting my current rig into one

Hope you make the video on the LED controller soon. I just picked up a dead alienware case to make a sleeper machine for my own Wife.

I have same case, bud LEDs are not working even connected into any USB :( ...my version of led controller board is equipped with pure "HW version" slide-in module with 3 tiny switches, so there is no need to use some software for it, probably

Is the front IO connections on this case standard? Or do you have to do some modifications to fit them to a new motherboard?

nice, btw you should install DDR dimms into slots 2 and 4 (counting from socket)... not into 1 and 3
