As someone going thru infertility, I can completely understand wanting one of these dolls. I can see why it would be hard to understand why any adult would want a doll that looks so lifelike. But when you’ve longed to hold your own baby for so so long, I’m starting to understand why some people would buy these. Please don’t judge people for the things that may help them

It's an amazingly realistic doll. I do find it unsettling though. During my nursing career, I worked 10 years in labour and delivery. Some mothers would come to us because they hadn't felt the baby move in a day or two. Tragically, it was often a fetal demise. This reminded me of 'stillborn' care. Preparing, cleaning, and dressing their limp, still bodies so the family could hold them and take photos. The only difference was the colour. The doll is pink. The stillborn babies were pale or dusky except their lips looked dark red or dark purple against their ashen faces. I know this is just a type of doll that some people like to collect. I just watched it out of curiosity, but it brought back memories of lost babies and their grieving families.

Im the mother of five, the youngest is 52. Even though the artistry of this doll is unbelievable excellent, I can only think of a dead baby. We handled oue 2yr old grandson's funeral, and it was tramatic! This beautiful doll no longer looks like a toy baby doll, but a deceased baby!

I understand many elderly find comfort in holding dolls as they revert back to childhood or folks with developmental issues, but beyond that an adult playing with a doll is very odd. It gives me the willies
