Hey Craftydusters! I am excited to show you my IKEA kitchen island hack! In this video I am transforming an ikea kallax shelving unit into a DIY kitchen island on wheels. This IKEA kallax hack is perfect for small spaces and is easily transformed into a detachable kitchen island with a countertop (I'm using the IKEA Karlby worktop) and a set of wheels. IKEA furniture have always been easy to hack (and honestly, who doesn’t like a good IKEA hack?!) and why not turn the IKEA Kallax into an IKEA kitchen island table? I just love how this ikea kallax kitchen island hack turned out and it is ideal for tiny kitchens! What do you guys think?

6:56 PROTIP: When gluing pieces together, you can add some salt in between to prevent them sliding.
