Thanks for the platform and your work Danica.
Religion is "environment of learning and practice" while spirituality is "relationship and communizing". Often merged and misconstrued in understanding, both are important yet differ vastly in application.

To the rabbi: when one declares for being spiritual, but not religious, the obligation to live a life of higher principle is inherent in the concept of spiritual. Spiritual, by definition, 'concerned with sacred or religious things, implies a call to living a mindfullness of greater sensitivity to that which is often deemed 'the unknowable, unspeakable, unnameable, Source, Unity, Great Spirit or God. So, no worries about a spiritually declared being doing 'the right thing'.

I think this is an important topic to consider. In my observation Religion is something that people easily take for granted or as a way to follow. A path laid out before you. Instruction for safety. A problem I have seen is that when within this “way” we encounter a struggle or conflict with how we are living and what has been presented is in contrast with how we are actually living people fail to go inward and embrace the truth of their own personal existence. A lack of honesty to acknowledge when we are in conflict with what we know to be learned within any religion. We make excuses. Blame others or just continue to lie to ourselves. This is where I believe spirituality becomes most important. Introspective insight with this higher power belief. I believe the greatest forward movement can be achieved when these two things collide. Religion (a framework of morality)and spirituality(insightful introspective contemplation).

Have to go with spirituality. I don’t judge, life is for learning but spirituality just feels true to my core. Grew up Christian by the way. Just following my gut and intuition and I’m currently in this journey of truth myself but your on the right path. 💚

I just try to depend the truth of what the Bible instructs. I was raised catholic but I've distanced myself from the church because they don't parallel what the Bible teaches. Most religions don't.

Personal relationship with god makes me spiritual. Public relationship with god makes one religious. I seek god, god does not seek me.. it’s a giant eye spy game of seeking gods will for me. Sometimes I am in hot pursuit and sometimes I’m casually seeking… but I’m always seeking at some level.
