I am 24 years old. since 18 I have struggled with periodontal disease, where before I used to be so angry. Angry because I did everything correctly, had always cleaned my teeth properly, had always gone to the dentist since the age of 2. and now with so much bone and gum loss I was angry because why me? I always did everything right, yet this happened. Was angry because I knew others who never put the same care, people who would get lazy and never clean, yet, I was the one who was suffering. Hygienists tell me I am so young and its only going to get worse for me.

Above all, I've come to trust the Lord, worship has saved me. Along with His word, reminded me that I am not alone. Thank you upperroom for this pure worship and for the invitation for us to worship as well, extended with open arms.

I ask for prayer, I believe in the Lord for a miracle and healing to come

Upper Room prayer is open Monday through Friday 6am to 8pm in downtown Dallas and Saturday 10am to noon. Sunday service 10am and 5pm.

I will NEVER forget listening to Surrounded and other songs as I was alone many nights, on my face crying and praying. There was no fight left in me except for my prayers, praise, and worship. Always takes me to a special place when Joel and Elyssa sing together. And I’m not alone now. My children have been back home for a few years. Thank You Jesus! 🙌🏽🙂
