Ableton vs FL Studio Comparison: Freezing tracks

A short video comparison showing the process of freezing tracks in Ableton and FL Studio.

NOTE: This is an old video and the freezing feature has become vastly improved in the later versions of FL Studio.

Freezing (rendering to audio) is useful to save CPU. Notice how the CPU meter drops when the track is frozen (rendered to audio).
This is especially useful for laptop users or computers with limited processing power.
