I'm from chechnya and work as content manager, so I understand your struggle of no one wanting to be on camera, it's literally 98% people don't want attention )

Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰. Have been there in Chechnya 3 time. Not only Grozny but also some remote parts of Chechnya. And I found it absolutely safe and hospitality was enormous.

I lived in Grozny two months later, 5 years after the war, and of course the echo of the war was fresh in my memory when the plane landed at the airport. But my idea of the Chechen people completely turned upside down when we started working and communicating. Honestly, after a day in the circle of Chechens, I felt safer and more comfortable than anywhere else.

Delighted to see Grozny beautifully rebuilt & thriving. Gives us all great optimism for the future of war-torn cities & villages in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. We, the people, will have peace when we are each peaceful in our hearts & lives. We are learning to value life & joy above all else. Thank you for this visit, seeing for yourself what life is like here.

I had the opportunity to meet my fellow Checknians in Mekah and was deeply impressed by their commitment to their faith and traditions. As a child, I remember hearing about the war in the news, and my home country of Somalia also experienced a civil war, which led me to live in another country for 30 years. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and experience the amazing culture of Chechnya. Sending love from Somalia.
