As Obi-Wan Kenobi launches on Disney +, now is the perfect time to brush up on the history of the greatest Jedi of all time. He’s a central character to Star Wars lore, having trained young Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vader, fearsome Sith enforcer and apprentice to Emperor Palpatine, ruler of the entire galaxy. The Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer shows Obi-Wan watching over a young Luke Skywalker on Tatooine as Imperial Inquisitors scour the galaxy for any trace of survivors of Order 66, the culmination of Palpatine’s evil plan to defeat the Jedi and take control of everything. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney Plus should connect to the last time we saw Ewan McGregor’s Kenobi, at the end of Revenge of the Sith when he drops Young Luke off to live with Owen and Beru Lars on their moisture farm on Tatooine. But what led up to that? This video traces his steps in the Star Wars Canon up to the start of the new series.

I’m pretty sure Dooku knew Palpatine was the chancellor, he didn’t know he’d get betrayed then and there that’s why he was shocked and caught lacking

Dooku knew that Sidious was the boss for both sides. He told obi wan about it, also there was a comic that came out a few years ago with a cool bipedal tiger Jedi, he flew out to coruscant to give the death star plans to him. He knew it's just he didn't know he would be betrayed. He was told that he was to help Anakin lean closer to the dark side and that both of them would have a part in the empire but he wasn't expecting to be betrayed at the moment. The guy knew of order 66

It's not that he didn't know, he just didn't expect to be betrayed right then and there that way. Also, interesting to include novels and comics in this. Their canonical status always seems nebulous at best since movies and shows can basically contradict them without worry.
