24 hrs if it was laid on its side. Horizontal!
4 if it’s delivery is upright. Vertical!

Not all fridges is the same and it depends on how it's transported. If it stays upright during transport the oil will remain in the bottom of the compressor and you can connect it directly to the power and switch in on, but you need to wait some time till the fridge is cool and worked through a cycle

If I loaded my fridge up in a truck and had to tilt it all the way on its side for a few seconds to stand it up again will I have too wait 4 hours or 24 hours?

It's just a myth..lorries, aeroplanes and ships are using the fridge too without having to wait for that long. Even an automotive air conditioner is also on the move every time. You know what, the guy that sent the fridge to someone's house needed time to slip away without being questioned about the fridge in the early days, that is why he started that myth and it was believed by others up until now😂😂😂

bought one walton freezer today in bangladesh, seller told to wait 12 hours . the shop wasn't far, so I guess 12 hours is fine for freezers if you haven't moved it more than 2 kilometers . or you can wait 24 hours just to be safe . The compressor has 12 years guarantee so no worries about the compressor for 12 years .

By unplugged you mean.... Not connected to the power source or switched off from the power source? Kindly explain please
