Hello, fellow high quality gamers.

Just a quick video for you showcasing some of the wilder responses from the other side of this debate. Obviously don’t go after anyone. I’m not encouraging a brigade. The only thing I’m encouraging is to not buy Nintendo. That’s what a boycott is. It’s pretty simple. No need for pitchforks or torches.
Just play other games for a while. There are plenty of options.

We’re in a pretty tricky time at the moment with all this economic business so when things get more expensive it's important now more than ever to start asking questions, and get some facts straight. I also wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone something which should be obvious.. it doesn’t matter if YOU specifically CAN afford these things. It is important to think about other people.

I’m fortunate enough to get a little bit of money from talking about video games on the internet. It’s not a lot. I’m a pretty small-time guy here on youtube.com but I get enough that I can at least buy my games with it. I can afford the Switch 2, and I could even afford some games on it from time to time as well. A lot of people aren’t that lucky.. and so it’s important to push back on these things because if we say..

“Ah, variable pricing you say, Mr Bowser? King Koopa - Bowser - actual Super Mario villain, Mr. Bowser, my king, here’s my money! I am of course a high quality gamer”..'

.. what’s stopping him from telling you that Switch 3 games are $100? Or $150? Where does it end? What is the price where people say… hmm actually no that is a bit much. Because if it’s not $80.. what is it?

Gaming as an art form is unique because it is pay-gated in a way that other mediums aren’t. And the further we get from what is reasonably affordable for the average person the more elitist this hobby becomes and I think.. that sucks.. you know. The fact that Nintendo have come out themselves to say “if you can’t afford this, don’t buy it”... well, that sucks.

This is probably going to be the last video I make on this topic unless something really crazy happens. I feel like I’ve said everything I want to say. Next videos will be more of the stuff you’re used to if you’ve been around the channel for a while.

Hope you’re all getting through okay. Don’t listen to weirdos who tell you you’re an under-performing loser. There are more people struggling these days than there are people that aren’t. You outnumber them. Be well. Boycott Nintendo and.. please.. have a great day.

I was able to buy all 5 DMC games for about 25 dollars. I could do that two more times and still be under the price for Mario Kart World. That's 1 game for the price of fifteen
