Great and highly recommended video with an extremely educational narrative. Shows outstanding palaces & pictures from across the globe. Unfortunately, most of us will never see these great historical palaces with our own eyes, the puctures allow us dream. Although, I was very surprised to see it neglected to include the Habsurg palaces in Austria "The Hofburg" or "Schonbrunn Palace".

Your photos in "the Winter Palace" segment are a bit confusing. You keep showing the Admiralty (yellow building and hq of the Russian navy) while talking about the Winter Palace. They are two separate building complexes.

Sintra is one of the most urbanized and densely populated municipalities of Portugal. I am also genealogically linked to two of the sons of George Rose Sartorius, a veteran of the Napoleonic Wars, who were born at Sintra.
George Rose Sartorius was born at Bombay on the 9th August, 1790 and became involved in the Portuguese Civil Wars of 1832 by bringing back from the Azores Dom Pedro, ex Emperor of Brazil and Duke of Braganza.
George Rose Sartorius was engaged to command the Portuguese navy by Dom Pedro which led to him being taken off the British navy lists for about 5 years.
Reginald William Sartorius was born at Sintra on the 4th May, 1841 and his V.C. was for the attack on Abogu, Ashanti, now Ghana, on the 17th January, 1874. His brother Euston Henry Sartorius, born at Sintra on the 6th June, 1844, received his V.C. on the 24th October, 1879, for an engagement of the Second Anglo-Afghan War.
