Показать описание
The all-new Mazda CX-80 is set to arrive in the UK in January 2025, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to the SUV market. As Mazda’s largest and most spacious SUV yet, it is designed for greater comfort, practicality, and luxury.
The Mazda CX-80 lineup offers five trim levels: Exclusive-Line, Homura, Takumi, Homura Plus, and Takumi Plus:
Exclusive Line
The Exclusive-Line trim includes 18” Grey Metallic alloy wheels, body-coloured heated, auto-folding mirrors, and a gloss black grille with chrome accents. It features LED headlights with auto-levelling, rain-sensing wipers, and a hands-free power liftgate. It also offers parking sensors, a reversing camera, roof rails, and matte black mouldings. Inside, there is black leather seat trim and a 12.3-inch infotainment display.
Homura
Building on the Exclusive-Line, the Homura grade adds sporty features like 20” Black Metallic alloy wheels, a gloss black grille, and gloss black wing mirrors with memory and tilt-down function. Inside, it offers Black Nappa leather seats with electric adjustments and ventilation, plus the Driver Personalisation System. It includes ambient lighting and an optional 6-seat layout with heated captain’s chairs. It also features the 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Homura Plus
The Homura Plus trim enhances the Homura and adds a panoramic sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, and rear privacy glass. It includes a 360° View Monitor, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and interior features like illuminated door pockets, courtesy lamps, and power outlets, including a 1500W socket for PHEV models. It also offers Qi wireless charging and an optional 6-seat configuration with heated captain’s chairs and centre walkthrough access.
Takumi
The Takumi trim includes 20” Grey Metallic Machined alloy wheels, body-coloured wing mirrors with memory, and body-coloured mouldings. The interior features electric adjustments for the front seats with ventilation, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with white stitching, white Maple wood accents, and white Nappa leather seat trim. It also offers heated outer rear seats, electric steering wheel adjustment, ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Bose surround-sound system.
Takumi Plus
The Takumi Plus trim adds several features to the Takumi. It includes a 360° View Monitor with trailer connection support, adaptive LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, and rear privacy glass. Interior enhancements feature door pocket illumination, front and rear courtesy lamps, and additional power outlets, including a 1500W socket for PHEV models. The trim also introduces Qi wireless charging and an optional 6-seat configuration with heated and ventilated captain’s chairs and a centre console with storage and cupholders.
How much does the Mazda CX-80 cost?
If you’re looking for an efficient, family-sized seven-seat SUV, there really is no shortage of options in 2024. The challenge is how to stand out; while many many try to achieve this, they often don’t quite hit the mark. Mazda, on the other hand, is pretty adept at going its own way, and it’s done so again with its first seven-seat SUV for the UK.
The new Mazda CX-80 joins a class that includes the very fresh-looking Hyundai Santa Fe, the Kia Sorento, plus slightly smaller rivals such as the Skoda Kodiaq, SEAT Tarraco and Nissan X-Trail. In the case of the Korean pair, the Mazda actually undercuts both, with a starting price of £48,920. This is for the base-level Exclusive-Line.
Above this is the Homura from £52,070. The top-spec Takumi is priced at £53,020.
Both the Homura and Takumi can be upgraded with a Plus Pack, which adds high-end features including a panoramic sunroof, adaptive headlights and a privacy glass tint on the rear windows. These models cost £54,720 and £55,670, respectively. The quoted prices are all for the entry-level plug-in hybrid variant, but there is also a 3.3-litre in-line six cylinder diesel option available for an extra £2,500. However, the plug-in is expected to take the majority of UK sales.
