Man I've missed this. Been checking YouTube several times a day in hopes this would get released. Thanks for the killer content, Eric! If you posted 5 of these things every day I'd watch them all.

Impressively solid and yet agressive play by first opponent.

When I'm up material but behind on time, I prefer a strategy of blundering back my material as quickly as possible to simplify the position.

Loving this series, and especially the last few episodes which have featured players at roughly my level for this time control. Eric is such a good teacher and I love his clear calm analysis and respect for opponents.

Never got excited for TV show or series like this. I really enjoy these episodes! Sometimes they make me laugh with your funny statements like "my opponent is playing a speed game" Don't know I'm the only one that laughs with such statements 😅 time runs when I'm watching these videos. Thank you Eric! Been waiting this for the past weeks.

Pretty sure the last guy's user name would translate to Mate in 23, since the last 5 digits can be interpreted as binary. Maybe a game that has significance to him finished in 23 moves?

Eric I used to spend my days during covid and beyond watching your videos and channel and learning how to become a better chess player along the way. You're my favourite chess youtuber/creator ! Now seeing you come back and seeing you are also doing a speedrun is so excited, i can't wait to watch!

23:29 Maybe it's binary, so it's mate in 1 + 2 + 4 + 16 = mate in 23.

That picture wouldn't happen to be the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, is it? It looks like it.

Eric, you've created a monster. Everyone wants to watch you go undefeated to the GM level on this journey - which means, at least for me, I check everyday to see if you've put up the next vid. Your calm analysis of your every move is such a gift. You are very appreciated.

I just don't understand why these players choose 10+0 rapid time format and then blitz out 25-30 moves in the first 2 minutes. So often they are missing critical idea that a little more time might have brought to their attention. One of my key takeaways from this amazing series is then time you take in the middle game. Of course you are very confident closing out a winning position in under a minute, which a lot of us are not. Your eye for mating patterns is really amazing.
