How to Adjust Coilovers - Riding Height

In this video we will cover how to adjust your coilovers which translates to the height you ride. Coilovers make it easy to adjust the height your vehicle rides and allow you to easily raise and lower your car to fit your needs. This is a very simple tutorial which will cover all you need to know regarding adjusting coilovers and the height of your vehicle.

In this tutorial we are working with Icon 2.5 In IFP coilovers, but the process is the same for similar products.

I just got a set of the 2.5 Icon coilovers installed at a shop and i went to adjust the coller to fix a slight lean and the set screw is in the rear. How can i fix that? Kinda dont trust that shop anymore. Thank you for any info.

Do I need to get an allignment after making a minor adjustment (approx. 4 turns, 1/2")?

Thanks for the “how to” video. I have Icon stage 6 on my 3rd Gen Tacoma (purchased from Metal Tech!) and Icon says not to adjust the collar down any further than 2 1/8” of threads showing. I’ve always wondered why?
