Edwin Marcial, host of Techrides, is the former founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). During his 18 years as CTO, ICE grew from a 6 person startup to a Fortune 500 company. Today, ICE is one of the largest financial market operators in the world, has over 6,000 employees, and is valued at over $50 billion dollars.

In 2014, Edwin left ICE to pursue other interests. Nowadays you can find Edwin advising and investing in early-stage businesses, and providing consulting services for companies looking to create exceptional technology organizations. Edwin is also a board member of Year Up Atlanta, a non-profit which helps underrepresented young adults prepare for careers in technology.
