In case no one's suggested it yet, maybe build the new beds, assign the villagers and then try destroying the old beds. Seems a weird way to do it considering the patch, but ehh :D

Hear me out you know how the sky color changes if you get to far from the cave try placing a village square outside the caves color boundary and maybe you can have an under the map village.

The villagers can smelt metal and will make you quite a bit of copper but it takes them 3 in game days and if you have more than villager smelting it will help to have more than 1 smelter.

I would never risk leaving my storage on the ground cause animals will eat your food and if you accidentally logged out of the game, let's say the game crashed or your pc turned off idk but when log in back you will find nothing

I used to be able to make random unassigned wanderers my follower ("16th" villager) but something broke, the option is just never there. I can still take followers if they are a member of a village. The last time it let me grab a rando was when I found Tomatohead and swapped him out. Also there is a lag time when swapping villagers even with the "Leave Now" option, the new villager won't let you invite them for a while, or at least my buggy world didn't, even though village square showed an open slot and plenty of beds.

Build a train connecting all your villages

Build a new bed for each of the characters. Then assign each of them to a new bed. After that you should be able to destroy the ones outside.

Try to lure some enemies down there. Maybe they'll stay there and not respawn 😂 you can have a prison of bad guys.


Try making a mini village there (don't upgrade too much) and make a under ground grow operation 😂

you should make a cave storage with the cave bunker (im a new subscriber)
