Fact or Fiction: Disney planning for roller coaster that jumps track?

A story you may have seen claims Disney has filed a patent for a roller coaster that jumps the track.

This would never work becase wind conditions always changing.The weight of the roller coaster is always different and the speed it goes over the loop is different so it is impossible for this to be accomplished without destroying multiple roller coasters
