'Happy' Bucket Drum & Backbeat Lesson with Mr. Howell

This is a lesson with activities for use with the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. The lesson includes the concepts of quarter notes, eighth notes, and the backbeat. Students get to make a variety of sounds with their instruments in this lesson. It also includes some simple movements that reflect the lyrics. This is a great resource. However, to improve the video, it would be a good idea to get a microphone. Right now the drumming volume is much louder than your speaking volume. It makes it hard to adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
