Concept 2 Model C Quiet Kit Comparison

A before and after comparison of how the Concept 2 model C sounds before and after installing the "Chain Axle Sprocket Replacement Kit Model C" (Part Number: 1915) aka the quiet kit. The kit reduces the noise from the chain when it comes in to contact with the sprocket. The fan noise is unchanged.
I also replaced the old wooden handle with a new one and replaced the shock cable.

Just so you know, there are free decible meter apps available. A before and after decible reading from the same distance may give your audience a better idea of the noise levels. Thanks for taking the time to make the vid 🙏🏼

Well I can definitely tell the difference in chain noise. I'm not sure it makes it much quieter overall, but it does sound better so that's something.

two questions, can you update the display screen to the new age? + does your older one still work/ cound down from 2000 metres etc?

How were you able to replace the handle? Did you just use a ratchet?

Does the bolt on the left side of flywheel move every time you pull? I wanna make sure I installed correctly :) appreciate your help
