I feel this. It sucks it’s not safe anywhere to be a female and alone anymore. I’ve been harmed before so I am now permanently hyper vigilant and afraid so now I walk to my car armed to the teeth. I’ll have my bear spray, my anodized karambit in a sheath on my hip
(Google it, it’s an awesome blade)
And finally I carry a heavy metal baton in my hand that is pretty much a cattle prod taser.
I hate that it has to be like this. I think every woman should carry something on them for their safety.
But trust, if someone decides to come at me, I’m ready. Im ready to protect myself and crack that baton like baseball bat. I have decades of rage in me.
They would be unrecognizable. Maybe even unsalvageable.
Like a big glob of raspberry jam in the street. No open casket for the fam.

It’s sad but if I have to defend myself from some monster, I’m gonna make sure I win.
And it sucks it’s so normal now too. It’s just another bs thing we have to live with and it’s unfair. There isn’t a lot being done about it and I’m sad it’s probably gonna stay a reality for future generations. But I hope to God that I’m wrong

Hell even middle schoolers and high school students should get something LEGAL and appropriate to carry on them to protect them and give them a chance.
