I've been using it for years on my lips, face, neck, arms and legs. It's one of the best moisturizers to use and saves hundreds of dollars on products that doesn't work as good as Vaseline.

I am a stickler for Shae Butter for my skin and definately for my hair. I have LUPUS and shae butter has been the only thing that helps my dry skin.

I have an illness called Erythromelalgia which makes my feet, hands, ears, and lips very hot and dry. The best lip balm I have found is MONGO LIPS, peppermint to cool my lips. If you find you need to lick them all the time, or bite big, chapped parts off, I suggest reading up on EM to see if you might have an illness causing the dryness.
I know many use it, but I am not sure putting petroleum products like mineral oil and Vaseline on your lips is such a healthy thing. Same with other chemicals in sunscreen. Shea is likely a much better choice, if you are not allergic.
