I have had my diehards for 7 years now and still holding strong. All I have done are get new laces and sole for a little more comfort. I just bought two more pairs.

Couldn't reccomend this boot enough, I use these in a welding shop and they see plenty of spatter and sparks. I dont take special care of these boots and the break in time wasnt unbearable unlike the boots I was issued at basic training. Most people would pass these boots up but I can tell you that these boots along with the carhartt rugged flex boots last forever with little to no care. I've never spent more than $175 on a pair of boots and I have friends who've went through $400 red wings doing the same work I do. Just because it's expensive doesnt make it superior in most cases, I'm not saying that DH boots are the best case closed no further discussion needed but for the price they're really hard to beat.

Been roofing 20yrs. Single ply & metal. And we beat the hell out of boots so much that i cant see myself spending more than 150 for boots... ive ran through so many pairs. Ive tried wolverine, redwing and didnt see what the big deal good boot for the price. My 2 cents

These were my first work boots, I work in asphalt and they hold up pretty damn well and the soles are the best soles in a boot.

Dam they were comfortable and at the time with a coupon i only paid about 45 bucks. dam shoes lasted me over 2 years without any issues and they wouldve lasted even longer if i wouldnt have thrown them away. No stitching was coming undone nothing. they just needed some cleaning, but me always wanting a new pair

“Yeah this seems like vinyl” shows how much research you did before the review.
I literally takes half a minute to find out that it’s a pig skin lining.

I was in Loma Linda hospital today and I got there just as what seemed to be around a hundred construction workers who are building the new 17 story wing to the hospital get off work. I kid you not, half of them had this boot on.

I appreciate the review and agree with about half of it. This is a good boot to start off with. The soles just don't wear out and the leather is durable. Once broken in, they are as comfortable as I've had. A number of experienced "journeymen" I know at my work will only wear these because of the value.

Ever serious concrete finisher I have ever known swears by these and my foreman got me to buy a pair when I was 20 and I have never bought another brand of boot since and that was 21 years ago.
I use these hard as a concrete finisher/block mason and these hold up great. Best boot for the money hands down.
Go ahead and pay $200 for Red Wings if you like, but these are great for less than half the cost. I use these hard and Ive never had a sole come apart and no stitching blown out. Ive probably owned close to 20 pair of these. I generally buy one to two pair a year because of how hard I abuse them in concrete. The ones I use for personal use, go forever

Still use my first pair my father bought me at 19. That was 10 years ago, The sole is barely finally lifting where there stitched. Plan on getting them resoled one day.

I been metal framing and hanging drywall for 24 yrs and let me tell u, I have Georgia boots, wolverine, Thorogood. Yes they are more expensive but in my eyes and on my feet, no boot makes me feel more comfortable than my DieHard boots. These other brands will never take a beating like my DieHards, their leather is too soft and drywall will tear the crap out of it. Also, i have never gotten any nails or screws stuck on the bottom of my DieHards, unlike the other ones the screws and nails stick like magnet. Just my opinion, every single one of us thinks different.

I’ve worn the Diehard for about 15 years now. One of the best deals on a good boot
