Made me choke up a bit what a gift of the Holy Spirit to work thru something so hard but by the guidance of the spirit and his memory of his son to build this beautiful monastery ! I pray to God one day be able to visit

The pain in the faces of those people(the architect and his wife)is apparent but from that pain something beautiful was created. May God bless them and ease their suffering and loss.

Just the drive alone, leading to the Abby is beautiful. There is an immediate sense of peace & awe that strikes the heart.

I’ve been blessed to see the Catholic Churches of France, Italy & New York. I’ve always felt a tremendous loss that we have nothing comparable in California.

That is until, I stepped into St Michael’s Abby. The love you have in your heart for God, only swells up with intensity, when you see the Abby.

Our human minds connect with our eyes what is in our souls, the Abby does that, there is a palpable sense of the Celestial Court surrounding us in the Abby.

It is truly a gift from God that we have the Abby here in California, most especially.
