Great test. And excellent result.
For comparison, I share the data from my ride with Monster Pro.
Terrain - mostly flat, paved roads, total ascent 550m, total decent 545m
Temperature 14-16 deg C, wind 2-3ms from side and 10 o'clock.
Avg speed 15mph, max 19.5mph.
Tire pressure 2.1bars, Michelin Pilot Street.
Total weight (rider+wheel) 128kg
Riding position - seated.
Distance 128.5 miles (GPS), should be rather accurate, as there were very few turns, mostly in 1 direction. DarknessBot 221.3kms/137.5miles.
Voltage at the end (Darknessbot) 74.4V and 73.5V on the wheel.

75°F in mid-November... it has been around 43°F, wet and rainy and constantly overcast here where I live for weeks. Damn you!

The range I get in Canada depends on how much snow and ice is packed up into the unicycle and rubbing on the wheel.
When I bring it in from my ride I put it in a plastic bin to catch the melting ice.

Love the mix of footage and 'stats talk'. Appreciated, as I still wonder whether the Commander or Shermax might be my only wheel choice as all purpose ride. Begode issues and plastic quality have me lean towards the Shermax but I'd like to like the commander.

I am curious, you said this Commander has the high performance/high quality Ewheels pack in it right? Is it fair to say that any Commander not sold by Ewheels will not have that battery pack and could have different end results? 🤔

Hi Marty. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't on some of the duration of the Sherman range test you rode the wheel up to 30mph? I believe it was the fastest you've gone a wheel on a range test.

Hey Marty what do you figure accounts for the range discrepancy btwn this Commander & the M24p? The wheel size or firmware or perhaps even the motor ie. C38t vs C30s? Regardless I agree with the dumb critiques on range. Ofcos everyone's range will be difference cos everyone's riding, terrain & environment will be different. What you give is the consistency in your testing (which in science is the key). Unless one is after top speed & smooth cruising, it would certainly seem this Commander is it. Lets see what the Commander Vspd does. Good vid
