Rwanda is a country located in east-central Africa, bordered by Uganda to the north, Tanzania to the east, Burundi to the south, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. It is known as the "Land of a Thousand Hills" due to its hilly and mountainous terrain. Rwanda is a presidential republic, and the current president, Paul Kagame, has been in power since 2000. The country has experienced notable economic growth in recent years and aims to become a middle-income country by 2035.
