Built-in Windows 10 Screen Recorder Guide (XBox Game Bar)

This video shows you how to record your computer screen without having to download or pay for anything extra.
This works best for gaming, tutorials, how-to's, short and long videos.

You can record games, browser window, any window-based app. This Screen Recorder is technically a part of the XBox app family and was created for gaming, but it works well for other window-based screen recordings.

I use it to record my tutorials for customers.

You do not have to download or pay for any other software when using Windows 10 screen recorder (XBox Game Bar).

I will also show you how to enable your mic if you need to record sound (best to get yourself an external Clip on Mic for better sound)

The Built in Windows screen recorder is limited in only being able to record one screen at a time, you cannot switch screens or use a whiteboard type marking “pen”.

If all you want to do it record a procedure and show someone what to do in an application, then this is a great alternative to a paid program.

Can someone please help me? I’m struggling because on my Xbox gamebar, The dot or circle is not working. It says something like “recording won’t work. Try again later” I tried messing with the settings a little when I saw this but nothing worked.

HI, this is an amazing video! But i have a one problem... When i open the game Bar, the recording button at the top (The dot) Is faded and it dosen't work when i press it. Same with the little circle and dot in it.... What do i do?

There is one big problem.
When I record while playing a game, the game frame is smaller and in up left corridor. I try to make bigger size by editing on video editing apps but the quality is awful!
Please help!

Hi um when I finish recording my game the videos has the screen on the top left corner its like 1/4 of the screen how can I make it to a full record?

For me when I use the feature during meetings my voice is getting heard in the recording but Iam unable to hear the others voice . Is there a way to enable this feature to pick up other audience voices as well ?.Iam the organizers if there teams meeting . Also I hear lot of background noise .Iam using an external speaker as microphone for the meeting
