A Trip to London in 1932 | Restored and in Color

Показать описание
A color restauration of London scenes recorded in 1932 by the American tourist Morris Horn during a visit to the great city. All the famous sightseeing attractions are seen: Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Horse Guards, Cenotaph, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Queen's Guards.
The occasional artifacts originate from the combination of the motion stabilization and the low quality source video. Unfortunately, the stabilization is necessary as the video is too shaky otherwise.

Vivid History is dedicated to restoring old black and white footage and creating high-quality colorized versions to give you an authentic and vivid experience of the past.

The video has been restored and colorized using state-of-the-art machine learning methods.
The restoration steps included:
- motion stabilization
- noise reduction
- colorization
- frame interpolation for increased FPS
- adding ambient sound

I love the music! What is the first piece? It doesn’t match the music that’s listed in the info.

Beautifully restored videos. Thanks for them all.

The speed limit in London inner city is STILL 20mph. "Twenty's Plenty"

Not so very different from the 1950s, apart from vehicles and trams.
