I heard this song on my favorite Christian station when I was having a hard time. I just found out it was by Skillet. God has brought it back to me in another hard time. God bless anyone who reads this. God is love! Talk to me if you need anything. :)

I'm literally crying right now. I found this song on Pandora, but didn't quite listen to the lyrics. All I heard was the amazing vocals and beat. So, I screen cap the name to save for later. I come to find it, and I read the lyrics for the first time...
It's just such a real song, for me. And for others, as well. It makes me want to save everyone I can... With just those words.

I'm the farthest thing from a Christian/Catholic, whatever you want to call it. But I'm in love with Skillet's music. Just goes to show they really are for everyone.

I've suffered through depression and self-harm and I wish someone had told me that I wasn't alone. It took 20 stitches in my arms for my family to realize that it wasn't a phase and I really did need help. When I feel the urge to self-harm I listen to this song and I know I'm not alone and that I'm loved. Skillet and this song saved my life and I can never thank them enough for that.
