Finding Missing Angles in Parallel Lines (with Equations)

This video introduces the idea of finding a missing angle when there are two parallel lines and the angles are written with algebraic expressions.
Parallel lines have many relationships between there angles when a transversal cuts them. Corresponding angles, alternate interior angles, and alternate exterior angles are all equal. The two interior angles on the same side of the transversal are supplementary to each other. Each of these facts can be used to set up an equation from the given information to solve for the missing variable and find the missing angle.
