Thank you so much for the video! I used it a year or two back to upgrade RAM, and now to upgrade the hard drive. As rubbermaid11 pointed out, it would be helpful to specifically note, or even better, show how exactly to remove the ribbon cables.

I also assumed the ribbon cable that connected the mouse pad was the same as the keyboard and just pulled out but it does indeed have a small black piece of plastic that flips up, like the pieces holding in the ribbon cable that goes over the hard drive

Tnx! this video helped me a lot! My ssd works fine:) Like you say, removing the keyboard is difficult with a card.... BUT: Tip for other people after me doing this: in the battery compartment there you see 4 metal strips, they are holding the keyboard in place. if you bent these a little bit, I'm sure the keyboard will come out way easier.

My warranty sticker broke right away when I tried to touch it so I don't know how did you manage to lift it up without ripping it.
But I don't care about that very much because I managed to upgrade the HDD to SSD succesfully without trashing anything else inside the PC, thx for the video :)
