Very nice review. The best one I could find. Since this review showed not only the speed of the wireless speed but as well as the speed of the processor (Intel ATOM N450 CPU).

I bought this netbook yesterday. Its a great little thing. Mine came with the 6 cell battery. I haven't done a proper battery test, but when I looked at the battery indicator it said just over 5 hours at around 100%

Great vid! I am looking for a netbook that is very slim, fast, lightweight, portable, with windows 7, and it has to be good with media have you any suggestions of which netbook I should get? Ps. Preferably under £220

@RustyXIII Netbooks are really just for use with external speakers or some good headphones. I use mine with Beats by Dre and it sounds just fine.

@mustang4o96 No. Intel Atom CPUs are very slow and do not run HD videos smoothly without a graphics card. If you really need a laptop, get an ultralight notebook such as the MacBook air or similar products. If you just want to watch youtube and surf the web, get a tablet. The iPad 2 is really good and upcoming Android tablets such as the kindle fire are really value for money.

my 1000HD "celeron" plays local 720 music videos real good! and the audio holy crap it beats any laptop when it comes to SPL lol. specially with some extra amplification in ubuntu. and if it lags on flash vids(youtube) you should check if hardware acceleration is on.

@RustyXIII I am getting one for christmas but i was trying one in a store like a couple of weeks ago and it really did seem weak speakers, i know i know there is alot of noise in the technology store but it is really quiet!

but in my pc on 720p not so slow, IE does so bad performance, mozilla of chrome doesnot slowing so much on 720p

internet explorer is very bad for youtube :) try chrome, i think at 720 it willn't problem

CouterStrike 1.6 is only lagging, because of the 12 npcs.

Cs 1.6 laggt nur wegen den npcs, die der PC rendern muss..
