Great review - you've provided the detail we need for comparisons to Kandao products. I'm a fan of the Qoocam 8K (ulp, I have two since I put one on a drone regularly). I'd love to see how the 8K compares to the 3. And I am very interested in what is going on with the Qoocam 3 Ultra. I know I'll find the best review of it here.

Good news and great video!

I like Qoocam 3 detachable battery.
I'm using Qoocam 8k, but the battery expanded during storage, so I replaced it more than twice and expanded it again.

I'm just hearing the answer, "Use the pan while using it."

QooCam 3&Ultra is a removable battery, so I'm relieved.
I'll look forward to the Qoocam3 ultra video as well.

is it my eyes or is x2 looking better than x3 on details and color at 13:45 ! - can it be because x2 records in 100mbps h265( in h264 200mbps quality equivalent ) vs only 120mbps h264 for x3 ?

I'm surprised with the values for the insta360 in photo timelapse. My tests reveal that it's more 6 seconds between each photo. I don't know if this Qoocam 3 can really do 1s photo timelapse.

Please tell me what to do when i you have allot of 360 videos captured but don’t know where and how to start, I went for 2 vacations and recorded allot but every time i set behind the computer I get too deep wasting time on a small 360 video then start to having headache and never finished anything, nobody talks about this but I don’t think it’s only me who is having this problem, thank you Hugh for all the efforts you put in and thank you for sharing with us 💐

One thing you forgot to mention was the high pitched noise that happens every 5 minutes in a recording using this camera. And that the app, which isn't approved by Google or Apple and you have to bypass warnings on your phone and computer to use, also doesn't have audio at all!

@hughhou: Have your Insta360 Pro 2 Cameras also unusable internal sound? It's worse then my smartphone mic or even the 1-RS Mic due to high pitch beep noises (maybe produced by poor audio cable isolition, I don't know)?

Or is this a defect of my Pro 2 only? :/

Good to see GoPro Max still holding its own after all these years. The latest GoPro Labs F/W allows you to crank up the bit rate, and do a lot of other nice things. Best time I had with the new Enduro Max battery was 1 hour 29 minutes. The Qoocam 3 looks nice though, and definitely priced right IMHO. Maybe those photos need a touch of contrast. I'm waiting for the Qoocam Ultra to see what they have going on there.

As an Old Stereographer I would love to Look at shooting 360 in Stereo as part of the comparison... I know the limitations but when we stay in the proper range of use it can be Amazing... I love to see your tests and in everything we ever shot in the old days there was a LOT of testing which is always great way to Learn... Keep up the great work... Love your enthusiasm... I would Love to talk with QooCam makers to share some Wisdom that will serve them well...

Another question @Hough: What software would you recommend to remove myself wearing a backpack with the pro2 stick out on a 360 3D video? The workflow should be as fast as possible, since I have many videos where I wear it on a tripod. Furthermore I need to remove a small part of the sky (h3vr has a dead cat on it that's visible)
