(No of parts horizontally × no of parts horizontally+1 × no of parts on the vertex ) ÷2

(n×m×n+1)÷2

n=no of horizontal parts
m=no of vertical parts

but we can solve that last by using (2n^2-5) this formula. then the last figure would be (2.9-5)=13
