Okay so we will admit, this seems like a weird concept for a video. However, news emerged over the weekend that the Queen asked her advisors under what conditions she could remove a Prime Minister who refused to leave. So in this video, we're going to answer the question for her, or at least try to. We're not going to discuss if she wants to or if she could, merely the technicalities of it all.

TLDR is all about getting you up to date with the news of today, without bias and without filter. We want to give you the information you need, so you can make your own decision.

TLDR is a super small company, run by one person with the help of some amazing volunteers. We are primarily fan sourced with most of our funding coming from donations and ad revenue. No shady corporations, no one telling us what to say. We can't wait to grow further and help more people get informed. Help support us by subscribing, following and backing on Patreon. Thanks!

If you want to send it to Bercow, send it to his constituency office, he’s still an MP so will have an Agent/office within the constituency and the address of that will be public information.

"Can The Queen Fire Boris Johnson?"

5 minutes later: Maybe.

At least we are now in the known that the Queen does indeed use a flip-phone.

I`ve said it before. And I`ll say it again. We need a flying flammingo tie. And John Bercow needs one too.

As an Australian you need to know some of our history, the governor genuine acts on behalf of the queen here. They are selected not elected, once we had a pm that was fired by the Governor General. As the records were sealed we don’t know how much the queen was aware of it, however using the queens power the Governor General did fire the pm.

Okay, this is *_the best season_* so far.

The fan theories are going wild as previously background characters are getting more and more likely to engage with the main cast.

Our CFO said "the best way to follow Brexit is to watch a YouTube channel called TLDR News" in a meeting. I was shocked because I have subscribed since the beginning of the channel! Hope it will be spread like that more in the future.

The Brexit series is particularly enjoyable, as long as you don’t realise that it is actually real.
I am sorry for the British people that has to go through this absolute mess. Remain strong.

Imagine being so bad at your job that even the queen starts to wonder if she can fire you.

(Edit:)
Disclaimer: I am merely making a joke because of the comical situation. Don't get your panties in a twist.

The governor general of Australia sacked the PM before so it's not that far fetched for the Queen to fire hers

She might just want to leak that she's sought legal advice on this, as a brush back to Johnson, to deter more embarrassing situations. The embarrassing situations could hurt her as much as being political would, so letting this be known in a plausibly deniable, but public, way could be a defensive strategy. Ok, there's my wild theory...but with recent events, what's crazy anymore?

At this moment, I wouldn't be surprised if the Queen steps in, goes to the EU herself and forces them to join the UK just to get over Brexit

In 1975 the Governor General of Australia sacked the Prime Minister in the name of the Queen. It caused an almighty stink, but it was assumed this was the royal preogative.

1:50 he called to apologize for the supreme court ruling that his actions were unlawful, NOT to apologize for the unlawful actions he committed in the first place, not for having mislead her, but for someone else calling him out on it.

Easy answer: Yes. Reason: The Queeen *technically* is the ruler of the UK.

Dude from Mexico here, a question: why doesn't the UK have a written codified constitution? Which might be rhetorical, so I rephrase: why don't British people do whatever they can to get a codified constitution? Honest question.

We can answer this question with the inverse of that pirate meme: Well no, but actually yes.
