I'm going to keep throwing up tip videos for you guys in between larger videos. Going to try and keep them fairly short and to the point. Enjoy!

I use a waterproof clear shower curtain when I dye, it works pretty well and I just wipe it off and fold it up with my dyes. (it stains, but still keeps everything else clean) :)

I hope this is an ok place to ask you a quick question about the armor set that I bought and I think I am ready to start working on it. I have been working with EVA foam for a few years and even though I’m a big guy with pretty strong forearms, I’m having a hard time cutting 7-9 oz. Leather for my armor build. I bought a pretty decent leather working set from Amazon, ( at least I think I did) but cutting some of these pieces out is pretty darn hard. Is this something that I should get used to or should I get some really good leather shears? So far I’ve been using box cutters and constantly sharpening them frequently. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

A ? If you have the time: I’m making a leather breastplate that I’m planning on wet molding (8oz veg tan) and doing some carving on. Should I carve first or will the soaking of the leather wreck my carving?

Good tips and nice Wardruna shirt.

Your first tip reminded me of one of my favorite quotes from The Magic of Thinking Big, "Action cures fear".
