How fast should you go towards practicing new tricks? Fast warm up and straight to the new trick? Or going through some tricks you know already to build up difficult level? I've been struggling with 5 clubs for years and feel my progress is really slow. I've been doing exactly what you said in this video, putting the time for it in the end of my practice. I'll try moving it to the beginning now. Thanks for the advice!

Wow, this is a great video, I'm sure it will get lots of views. Yes, it describes my situation perfectly, as I'm trying to do 6 ball fountain by hours and hours of practice, but am not really progressing. So yes, I get it, I need to learn NEW tricks in order to get better. But for 6 ball fountain, what do you recommend as a new trick? Should I try 8 ball fountain, or is that too big a leap? Maybe I try 6 ball fountain going inwards (instead of outwards). What do you suggest? Thanks so much, Laido

Hi Laido,

Thank you for making this video it's really interesting !!
It's always something I though about, but never had the guts to prioritise new tricks over practicing my current act.

Personally I usually put the new tricks inside my training, like if in my act I have a 3up pirouette, I will practice right after the 5up then keep going with the tricks from my act.

Do you think that's a good idea?

Also, if I want to spend 45min on practicing my act, how much time would you recoment spending on new tricks

Thanks a lot
