Great, so glad you made your voice heard... its like a "thank you for your service" and in the same manner, veterans remain unemployed, on drugs, homeless, or otherwise mocked and ridiculed ... imagine being a veteran and traveling to another part of the world and someone finds out you were a veteran... the amount of scorn or hate shown to veterans in CONUS and OCONUS is staggering, but hey you said words, lots of words, and like my own, they will go unheard until veterans have all died off.

As a Vietnam Vet I can understand his pain and can not give enough thanks for his son's brave and compassionate undertaking in the Afghan War. Unfortunately their has never been a ' clean ' exit from any war. HOWEVER compared to our almost pure suicide exit from Hanoi, the exit from Kabul was at best far better with FAR less casualties then from Vietnam.
