I got an idea. Since her whole body is ball joints get a second and connect it to the body and do it over and over to make her more like the film

Some little tips when you’re painting, the Tiamat figure I’m not the best at tips, but you should put some metallic purple paint on the spines and maybe put some metallic spots on the frills but it is beautifully painted, and I love it I just think some metallic accents would look more bioluminescent like in the movie

There are ways to give it the glowing effect that the pink areas have in the film, the color can be brighter if you paint those areas with a white base and then apply pink
If you want to replicate the sparkly "textures", with a toothpick you can paint those tiny dots with metallic or fluor paint, it would require a lot of time and patience, but I think the result would be good

And not to overlook it, why would Playmates give this figure so much articulation and yet with the giant Mothra or even the regular one, the only thing that moves on it are the wings (according to what has been seen in videos). 😢
