I see Roy Wood quite often near to where I live. What an amazing chap and so pleasant to talk to!

Roy Wood's name should be first in the heading for this video, this song was written by Roy and he wrote all The Move's hits from "Night of Fear" (1966) to "California Man" (1972). This song is simply called "Tonight".

At the time of recording this, Jeff Lynne hadn't written a single hit record, that came the following year with "10538 Overture" by ELO.

The tv show was called "Whittaker's World of Music", the introduction was by Roger Whittaker.

The first MOVE song I ever heard. It was in a radio station's "abandoned" box of promo 45s. It was given to my brother's friend, he sorted through them and then gave the rest to my late brother. MOVE fan for life.

I played this to death on the Dansette (with legs) my Dad bought for us, and some time later did the same with Roll Over Beethoven by the ELO.

Many thanks - was that Roger Whittaker introducing them? (BTW, the song is called simply 'Tonight'!)
